Take other people’s advice.

Really - do it.

How many times do you hear about other people’s problems or situations and say, “He/she should be doing ______”? It seems so simple and obvious, but somehow they can’t see it that way, or they are even in denial. That’s because the person dealing with the dilemma is so intertwined with the emotions behind whatever the situation is, that they make decisions that are obviously not in their best interest. However, as an outsider looking in, you are able to provide advice that is basically unbiased.

Now flip this around so that it’s about your own problems. Think about the advice you’ve been given by other people. It can be hard, but when people you trust give you advice, you really should take it.

Don’t ask, but it’s fun.
